The tour starts with a sail around Comino’s stunning azure-blue coast on our private boat (exclusively for Yippee guests). See the famous Blue Lagoon, Crystal Lagoon, and caves. Beat the midday heat and crowds with a refreshing swim stop at Blue Lagoon or Crystal Lagoon.

Once you arrive in Gozo, meet your multilingual driver – then buckle up for an all-action 4×4 adventure, trekking across our most scenic landscapes in our powerful jeeps.

Jeep Sunset Tours follow customised routes, visiting Gozo’s secret, iconic, and remote places. Travel in style and comfort, get an all-access pass, and see Gozo’s natural beauty up close by day and night.

During off-peak season (when days are shorter), the tour also stops at the Cittadella, Gozo’s ancient fortified city, full of history and with panoramic views over the island.

A light traditional Gozitan dinner is also included.

Each jeep can comfortably seat 5 forward-facing passengers.

Duration: approx. 7 hours (excluding transport time)
Starting point: Marfa Quay, or Ċirkewwa Cafe for guests staying in Malta, Mġarr Harbour for guests staying in Gozo.
Start time: 2:00 p.m.* (Prefer an earlier start? Take our all-year Gozo Jeep Safari tour)
End time: Boat sails from Gozo at approximately 9:00 p.m., arriving at Marfa Quay/Ċirkewwa Cafe at 9:30 p.m.*
Availability: Available every day, between mid-April and mid-October.

Transport pick-up times

Pick-up times and locations depend on where your accommodation is based in Malta or Gozo. Yippee will provide all necessary collection instructions during the booking process. You must be at your pick-up point at least 5 minutes before the scheduled time. Always look for a Yippee sign on the dashboard of the minivan.

For clients residing in Malta, with your booking confirmation, you will also receive a tracking link so that, on the day of the tour, you can see the live location of the minivan and follow its arrival.

Welcome to Gozo!

Our private boat will sail you to Mġarr Harbour in Gozo next. Meet your experienced tour leader, then set off on your adventure.

Gozo tour:

You’ll visit various iconic landmarks and island treasures, and you will enjoy a light traditional Gozitan dinner on the way. At each stop, our experienced tour lead will share local wisdom and insights in your chosen language. We’ll take you to see Sanap Cliffs (Munxar), Xlendi Beach, Cliffs and Caves, Dwejra Bay (including Fungus Rock, Inland Sea & Watch Tower), Ta’ Pinu Basilica and Shrine (Għarb), Għasri Valley, Xwejni Salt Pans, Qbajjar and Marsalforn Bay, after which you’ll return to Mġarr Harbour. On early- and late-summer days (when days are shorter), the tour also stops at the Cittadella, Gozo’s ancient fortified city, after sunset.

The island of Comino is home to some of Malta’s most beautiful sea caves, sculpted by relentless wave erosion. Every cave has a unique beauty attracting tourists, divers, and snorkellers, who come to admire nature’s glory and to dive into the clear blue waters.

The Blue Lagoon

The world-famous Blue Lagoon is one of Malta’s most popular tourist destinations. Thousands flock to Comino Island every day in summer, and rightly so: The Blue Lagoon’s crystal-clear waters are truly incredible, turquoise blue shores offering a paradise-like backdrop. Be sure to have your camera at the ready!

N.B. No government-issued access pass is necessary with us.

Crystal Lagoon

Comino has many treasures to enjoy, and the Crystal Lagoon is one of the most enchanting. Gorgeous and peaceful, the Crystal Lagoon is a favourite spot for snorkellers and scuba divers. While the bay is visible from land, the best way to visit this stunning location is by boat.

Sanap Cliffs - Munxar

Sanap Cliffs (also referred to as Ta’ Ċenċ Cliffs) offer breathtaking coastal views across our azure blue seas, and around the islands of Comino and Malta. They are a must-see for nature lovers, with scenic trails running along the coast. Your tour leader will escort you to the best viewpoints.

Xlendi Beach, Cliffs and Caves

Our ride along the cliffs will lead us to a belvedere overlooking Xlendi Bay, Gozo’s charming coastal village, with deep blue waters framed by high cliffs and guarded by a watch tower built by the Knights.

Dwejra Bay - San Lawrenz

Next, we’ll head to one of Gozo’s most iconic places: Dwejra Bay. Once home to the famous Azure Window, a natural arch looking out to sea, which sadly collapsed after a fierce storm, Dwejra is filled with natural wonders and a historical monument. It’s no wonder that Producers from the Game of Thrones TV series chose this beautiful location as a backdrop to shoot scenes for this series’ famous first season.

We will pass by another famous landmark you can admire in Gozo: the Ta’ Pinu Basilica and Shrine, located on the outskirts of Għarb and set against a lush countryside backdrop. This beautiful basilica has a strong religious importance, as it was built on the spot where a miracle happened.

Wied il-Għasri

Nestled along Gozo’s northern coast, at the end of a rugged valley, is Għasri Valley and its beautiful but hard-to-reach cove. The valley has a small pebbly beach with crystal clear waters and winding cliffs reaching out to the open sea. A highlight on this tour!

Xwejni Salt Pans

This is, without doubt, one of Gozo’s most photo-worthy locations. Gozo’s northern coastline is dotted with salt pans, dramatic-looking chequerboard squares cut out of the rock by locals to harvest natural sea salt from the Mediterranean Sea. In the summer, it’s often possible to witness the salt being harvested.

Qbajjar and Marsalforn Bay (pass by)

Another highlight of your adventure in Gozo will be Qbajjar and Marsalforn Bay. We will pass by these two popular seaside villages, so you can take in some of our most beautiful coastal scenery.

The Citadel - Victoria (depends on the sunset time)

Step back in time at the Citadel, a fascinating fortified city positioned high above Gozo’s main town, Victoria. Our stop gives you sufficient time to wander through its ancient alleys and inside its beautiful Baroque Cathedral. Be sure not to miss its fascinating trompe l’œil painting, and discover other historic treasures. Take a few seconds to climb up to the bastion walls for jaw-dropping 360-degree views over Gozo.
